Twas A Good Week

Hey everybody!!

This week was really good!

Our friend who was the self referral, I now realize I never said her name. But her name is varaidzo. She never came to institute, but she said that she would come to church yesterday and didn't. She moved flats, and we're not sure where she lives, so hopefully she responds to us, so we can go back and visit her. We haven't been able to meet/talk to her since we went a little over a week ago.

Our friend Sarah is still progressing so much!! She is just amazing. We called her on Thursday, and taught her the gospel of Jesus Christ. We invited her to read 2nd Nephi 31, which talks more about the gospel of Jesus Christ, and then we called and talked with her about it on Saturday. She said that she read it, and is interested in learning more so she can be baptized!!!! Wooooo that was amazing!!!

We have another friend who is progressing, and we asked her to pray about baptism a while back, but she is nervous that she won't be able to give up tea. She used to be set on the fact that she wasn't addicted to tea. But then we called her this week, and she told us that she was addicted. Kind of funny how quickly she turned, but we are hoping that she keeps progressing.

We had Zone Conference which was sooo much fun! My only other zone conference that I've been to was the Christmas one, and everybody told me that it was so much better than any other zone conference. So I was nervous about how boring this one would be. But it was still a lot of fun! We didn't play quite as many games, but you know what that's okay. We had some really great training, and I learned a lot. The mission pres. and his wife talked to us about how our strength and success comes from the Lord, so we always need to rely on Him. So they both shared amazing messages. For lunch at zone conference they got subway, but funny story. There's 3 missionaries who are gluten free in the mission. There's an a.p., an elder in my district, and then me. So it was funny that we were all in the same place lol. Then the elders got talking and the ap was going to be in the area for exchanges, so for lunch the next day we went to go get gf fish and chips. So that was a ton of fun.

We also had exchanges this week. We didn't get another flat tire, but it was so good! I went to Tamworth again, and I learned sooo much from Sister Baker! She is just an amazing missionary, and we had a lot of success!!

Nothing really new has happened here, and I am loving being here! I know that our Heavenly Father places us where He needs us to be, when He needs us to be there. He is so mindful of us, and knows what we are going through.

I love and miss you so much, and I hope you all have a great week!

1. Zone conference. It is the Birmingham zone and the Litchfield zone.

2. Pretty sunset while we waited for a bus

3. Really cool cobwebs on a monkey-puzzle tree in Tamworth

4. The Birmingham zone. They're all homies

5. The only gf people in the mission gathered in one area, so we figured that meant we absolutely had to get gf fish and chips.
