Daisy Is A Sussy Baka

Hi everybody! I hope that you have all had such an amazing week! This week was definitely a wild one! On Tuesday we went to teach English again, and then yesterday we got to play board games with the refugees from Sudan. They are truly amazing, the food that they eat though... questionable. They gave us lunch and I was having a rough time with it (along with every other non-Sudan). I was literally gagging at one point. And so I decided I would have good manners and that I would play with my food instead. I basically just stirred- the part that I didn't like and it looked like throw up. Gross. Also I'm pretty sure that one of the sisters got a tongue. *pictures below  I got to go to Zone Conference which was sooo amazing! We went to Gloucester, with quite a few zones and got to see a really amazing church history site! I went to Gadfield Elm Chapel which was the first EVER chapel from our church in the whole world. So that was pretty cool!! Then we went to Benbow pond where Wilf...

Hi everyone! I hope that you all had the most amazing week yet!  This week we had a pretty good week! Nothing too crazy happened which is good.  One of the highlights from this week was that we got to go clean one of our members' houses. Holy Cow. Talk about clutter. This house was on the same level as the ones you see on Hoarders. We were there for a few hours and only managed to clean one desk. It was really satisfying getting to just throw things away. The mom really likes to keep things, and I would ask her if I could throw something away and she always had a reason to keep it. So as soon as she left the room Sister Davison and I just started throwing things away. We went back later in the week to share a spiritual thought and the desk was already cluttered again ;( she did ask us to come back to help us clean so it looks like I will do the desk again. I also got to help teach English which was amazing!! There is a group of refugees from Africa who barely know any English,...

Our Trios Down To Two

Hey everybody!! I hope that you have all had a great week!! This week was a pretty good one! We had transfers, and Sister Parry went to Bristol with Sister Cloward (one of my last comps), but I am staying in Bournemouth with Sister Davison!! Also last transfer we loved listening to the lion King, and everytime it said our trio's down to two, we all got sad. And then it actually happened :(                                                  I don't really have a ton to update on, so the email might be a bit shorter. Every Thursday night we have a ward social that we can invite our friends to and introduce them to some of our ward members. And we always give a spiritual thought. So on Thursday we were talking about the parable of the widow's mite. And one...

Hey all! Hope all is going well for everybody, and that you have had a good week! This week was so busy but it was so much fun! Last week we got to go to a member's house and teach one of their friends named Fred. He is so awesome, and we've been talking to him about baptism, and we are working on getting him closer. Also at the members house they had coco playing in the background. You already know we put a show on for them. The week before was Lion King and they got a show there as well. We had quite a few days this week that we were so busy and were not in our flat at all. It was really nice to be that busy. This week we had the queen's jubilee!! It was so so so much fun! Our ward had a party at the chapel and had so many fun games! But then silly England decided that it was going to rain so we had to move everything inside. But before we went inside we all got drenched... picture below. But when we went inside our Bishop asked all the missionaries if we would play music...
