Weshhhh Kachow Pew Pew

Image
Hi everybody!!     This week was again a slow week, but we were able to do some fun things, and we have jammed our week for this week so should be busy!      We were able to go on exchanges, and I went to Helston with Sister hunsaker! We had quite a few appointments, and it was so nice! At a lunch appointment some members made a roast and put a Yorkshire pudding on my plate, so I cut it up and threw it onto sis hunsaker's plate. Unfortunately the member saw and asked what was happening. So I explained that I couldn't eat it hahahaha.      They also had a huge gigantic slug on their garbage can so picture below.      We had stake conference this week so the sisters spent the night with us on Saturday and we all drove up together. It was such a party, but there was a hugeeee spider and we killed it, but stake conference was AMAZING, and I learned so much from it! Elder whiting from the 70 came to speak and he was very powerful.  ...

Broken Phone

Hi everyone!      This week was a bit of a slower week so it might be a bit of a short one.     This week we got to do service planting trees on a farm. Little did I know that it was for a kids organization. We got there and I was introduced as "Ellie the monkey" then we proceeded to plant the trees. We sang a crumble song to crumble the dirt and put magic forest soil in the holes we dug. And then lots of blessings for the trees. Those will most likely be the best trees in all of England.      Sis Lopez accidentally ran over her phone... pics below. The only thing that works is the alarm in the morning, but no way of turning it off.     Our friend Isaiah will probably be getting baptized this week, so I'm so excited for him.     Anyways, hopefully next week I'll have some better stories for you! Love you all, have a great week!     -Sis Walker     Pics:  Lands end Sunnies Broken phone

Weshhhhh The 11th Commandment

Image
Hello everybody!!! I hope that you all had a good week! This week was really good! To start off, I just want to say how much I love the kid we are teaching. He is the cutest little boy ever. We were at his house on Wednesday and we taught the 10 commandments. We asked him if he could tell us them after we taught them and he said  "no farting in the missionaries faces". We have decided that it will be the 11th commandment. But we had the primary presentation yesterday and the kids sang a song that made quite a few people cry. He turned around and yelled "emotional damage". I love him so much. On the other hand I had my birthday which was fun! We were having dinner with a family the night before, and randomly asked about our birthdays. When she found out mine would be the next day, she got a chocolate bar and stuck a candle in it. Then arranged for me to go to another family's house for my birthday. Hahaha the people here are so kind and funny. One day we were try...

Most Embarrassing Moment Of My Life

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great week!  This week was definitely an interesting one, but it was good. We delivered a Book of Mormon to our friend Peris who was wanting a lot of answers and just some religious guidance in her life. So I hope that it will help her. She is so incredibly faithful and has all of her trust in God.  We also had a ton of referrals this week, and a couple of them have responded to our texts, and so we are hoping that we are able to set up meetings with them.  On Friday we went to a Christmas Concert with some friends. It was really cool but I have no idea what they were singing. It was an opera. So I sat still for 2 and a half hours, which really surprised me lol. It started at 7 and we didn't get home until 10:29. I was very impressed that we got in before 10:30. Funny story though, we were supposed to get in at 10:18, but we were telling my phone a story and got a little distracted. We ended up walking 10 minutes the wrong way and had to...

Weshhhhh What A Week

Image
Hello my friends!!!  This week was INSANE! We had a ton of bashers that were just arguing with us so that was a learning experience.  One person told us that an angel keeps appearing to them and that they need to find the truth. I think that it's secretly one of our other basher friends in disguise. But who knows.  We went to an inactive member's house to do some service and that was a nightmare. Sis Lopez warned me a bit about her. But after she told my companion that she was a robot, brainwashed, and that something is wrong with her, I had it. I'm still learning how to keep my mouth shut at times...  But some good things did happen  this week! We have one kid who wants to be baptized but his mom wasn't letting him. She finally gave approval, and he will be getting baptized in a few weeks! I got to cut Sister Lopez's hair, so I'm still picasso. Just kidding, I'm just praying that she likes it, and won't be too mad at me. I also decorated some cookies! W...
