Three Little Birds Sat In A Window
Hey everybody!!
This week was insane (in a good way) so many things happened, but it was so much fun!
So last pday we were walking around town centre with the other sisters in our district and Sister Carroll and that was so funny. Sister Carroll kept walking really far in front of us and wouldn't wait for us, so we all just stopped walking to see if she would stop and it usually took her a while to notice that we weren't with her. Then we went back to her flat and took some pregnancy pictures for Sister Parry because she hit her 9 months.
On Tuesday we were out walking to one of our friends' homes, and we got a call from our mission president which I didn't even realize was him. We answered the phone and found out that I would be training a reassigned missionary. So later that day Sister Davison joined the party. She's from Leeds and was originally assigned to France Lyon, so Sister Parry and I have been picking up some French which I think is pretty bomb!
Okay here is probably the funniest thing to ever happen. So on Friday we had district council and our district leader wanted to make pasta for us, so he got me some gf noodles. Then every time they were about to put something in they came out and checked that it was gf. So after they came in to ask if cream was safe for me to eat I decided a good ole prank was in order. So all the sisters in the district came up with the most elaborate plan. I was going to eat a few bites of the pasta, walk to the bathroom but walk kinda drunk you know and then when I got to the hall to pass out and hit a water bottle on the ground to make a loud noise. So all went as planned, and it was so so so funny! All the elders came running out because they thought they poisoned me hahaha. We all had a pretty good laugh at that.
This week we also got to do zumba! It was a lot of fun, and I had a good laugh. The zumba teacher came up to me afterwards and said that she had a good laugh hearing me scream every time I messed up. Then after zumba we had an institute party on the beach and on my way there I met a fox and became bffs with him. His name is Marlow and he let me come really close to him. Probably because he was about to die and couldn't go anywhere else, but it's okay because I made a new friend.
As far as the work goes this week was a bit of a slower week. We got a couple of new people we are hoping to meet with this next week, just trying to get people to respond back to us.
This week I have been feeling so grateful for a couple of things. I'm so grateful for all my family and the examples that they are and the support they offer. And for my amazing friends. Friends from home that are also good examples to me, and for my friends that I've made on my mission. I truly feel so grateful for my friends and family and I love you all so much! Have a great week.
Also for the subject line I've had this song stuck in my head, and there's 3 of us now, so seemed fitting
