Weshhhh Go Away
Hello everyone! I hope you had a great Easter weekend!!
This week was seriously so good! We had so many fun things happen. So the transfer news is that I get to stay in Bath for my last 6 weeks!! I'm so beyond excited that I get to stay here and work with our amazing members.
LEWIS WAS BAPTISED!! It was seriously so amazing. It's been amazing to watch his testimony grow from the minute we knocked on his door to when he received the gift of the holy ghost. He really is incredible, and it was such a memorable experience.
So super embarrassing story- we had a YA institute kind of thing and one of our members- deon- tells us that he's bringing 2 nonmember. So as a joke we reacted with this guy sprinting to show that we would be eager to talk with them. It was actually really funny, and doesn't make much sense when I explain it. Anywho, we are still institute and we had a pretty good convo with the 2 people. One said they used to be on baptismal date, and would like to be taught by missionaries again, but he lives up north (was visiting deon) So we were like deal. Let's teach you. And then we were at lewis' baptism on Saturday and they came. So I asked if it was their first baptism they came to, and they were like uhhhhh we are actually both returned missionaries... I WAS SO EMBARRASSED. I just laughed so hard and was like oh my you got me good. So that was entertaining
Then on Sunday we had quite the day. We woke up at 4:15 to go to an easter devotional with some members. They always have missionaries go with them, and it was amazing. We hiked up a hill, then sang a few hymns and read some scriptures. It was such a spiritual experience, and I love that we got to go with them. Then on Easter, after an amazing service, we went to a family's house for dinner and got to do an easter egg hunt with them!
Funny tracting experience. We knocked on a door and I started introducing ourselves, and this guy cut me off and said. "Go away. I don't want to know you" them shoooed (?) us away.
I love you all so much, and I hope you have a great week!!
